The Leadership and Management in Care Services L4 (formerly the RMA) and the Health and Social Care (HSC) NVQ L4 has now become a combined qualification at L5.The potential job roles for those working towards these Qualifications are:
• Assistant managers of residential services
• Assistant managers
• Senior care workers
• Day service managers
• Day service assistant managers
• Managers domiciliary services/residential services
• Assistant mangers domiciliary services
• Managers community based services.
There is an opportunity to undertake a choice of six pathways:
- Adults’ Residential Management
- Adults’ Management
- Adults’ Advanced Practice
- Children and Young People’s Residential Management
- Children and Young People’s Management
- Children and Young People’s Advanced Practice
This qualification is competence-based. This means that it is linked to a person’s ability to competently perform a range of tasks connected with their work in their workplace.
